Rockridge loves its dogs! Hardy is  a popular neighborhood spot in a quiet residential neighborhood, at Claremont and Hudson. It is under the freeway and is completely covered, so it’s perfect for rainy days. Street parking is available. The park also has two kids play areas, a little pond, a small grassy area, and a basketball court.

Location: Hardy Street, at Hwy 24. Map it.

Open: sunrise to sunset.

Surface: Mostly asphalt and some wood chips

We’re looking for ODOG folks who live in the  Rockridge/Temescal area! We need to get ODOG representatives to the Scenic Streets’ September 11th Hardy Park meeting. The neighborhood is preparing to get feedback and ideas for improving the dog run a Hardy Park, and the adjacent streetscape under the highway.

 The meeting is at

Rockridge Library
5366 College Ave, at Hudson
September 11th
6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
