C.A.M.P.

C.A.M.P. (Canines At Mosswood Park) is an effort of Oakland dog lovers to set aside a portion of North Oakland's Mosswood Park as an enclosed off-leash area.

The proposed area would be a narrow strip along the Broadway side of the park, far from any residences or children's play area.

Presentations were made to the Parks and Recreation Department, The Park Commission and The Mosswood Park Advisory Board. Also, well over 400 Oakland residents signed a petition in support of this proposal.

Benches and shade are already in place.  All is needed is fencing, a water fountain and some dogs gallomphing about!!!
