This 20 plus acre park is a dog park that is not completely fenced, but has paved paths, grass and beach access to the bay. Owners should take note that part of this park is close to the
highway. It is the largest dog park in the Bay Area and includes a dog bathing place called "Mudpuppy's" which also has dog toys and treats! Other activities include bay fishing, jogging/ running trails,
birdwatching, kite flying and picnicking. From I-80 (the Eastshore Freeway) in Richmond, take Central Avenue west to Point Isabel, adjacent to the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Center and Costco. www.pido.org

Located at Blair and Dracena. Off leash area is in the narrow Redwood Canyon, the grassy lawns are on-leash. No water, poop bags and cans are at either end of the trail. In the
middle of a residential neighborhood, so make sure your dog is quiet in the early mornings at late at night.

Located on Linda Avenue up from Grand, across from Beach School. Like Dracena, this park is adjacent to a residential neighborhoods. The issue of dog play noise has been a long standing
complaint with neighbors, so be mindful of your dog if it tends to be on the "talkative" side. Good sunny day place. Lots of dogs and interesting people. Very muddy when it rains.

Located across from Police Station in downtown Piedmont. Large lawn is on-leash, but the canyon behind the center is off-leash. Paved, hilly walking trails parralell a creek that runs
year round. Poop bags and can at either end of the trails. No fountain -- plenty of water in the creek.

Fenced half-acre site on the west side of the 30-acre park. Located at 1970 Via Buena Vista. From 880 take Hesperian exit. Turn Right at Bokman St. Left at Via Carmen follow road around
to the right and road will eventually dead end at the San Lorenzo Community park.
