Cipriani Dog Park

Belmont

Located at 2525 Buena Vista at Monserat, operated by the Belmont Bowser Club.  Closes at 8:30pm; fenced, benches, tables, poopbags, trees, parking, lights, water, trashcans; really nice dogs and owners there, the Belmont Bowser Club has great social events like potlucks, adoption days and an annual fair. Mitchell Park Dog Run

Palo Alto

Located in Mitchell Park at 3800 Middlefield Rd (between E. Charleston and E. Meadow) Note: It can be tough to find at first. The dog run is closer to E. Charleston by the baseball fields and over a small hill. MAP
Palo Alto Baylands Preserve

Palo Alto

The Palo Alto Baylands Preserve is a nice flat mostly unpaved trail which is a 5 mile loop. There are several entrance points. One of the main starting points is from Hwy 101 heading north, exit San Antonio Road and turn right. San Antonio Road will bring you directly into the start of the Preserve. Please note that there is an adjacent park on the right which is a Mountain View park that does not allow dogs :( However, no need to worry, the dog friendly Palo Alto side has plenty of trails for you and your pooch to walk or run! Pulgas Ridge Open Space

Redwood City

This park has about 293 acres and some great trails! There are are about 3 miles of trails that will provide moderate to strenuous exercise. The park offers some nice shade on warm days and has an off leash area in the middle of the park. If you work up an appetite, try one of the many dog friendly restaurants in San Carlos. There are many restaurants with outdoor seating in downtown San Carlos which is about a 10 minute drive from the park. For more information, check out the park's web site at www.openspace.org/PULGAS.html.  Here are the directions (taken from the parks web page): From interstate 280, take the Edgewood Road exit. Travel 0.75 miles northeast on Edgewood Road toward San Carlos and Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, and then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Limited roadside parking is available along Crestview Drive and Edmonds Road. MAP
Windy Hill Preserve

Portola Valley

At this park there are views of the Santa Clara Valley, San Francisco and the ocean. This preserve features grassy meadows and redwood, fir, and oak trees. There is a popular 8 mile loop to hike with your best friend. Directions: From Hwy 280, take Hwy 84 west (La Honda Rd). Go about 2.3 miles to Hwy 35 (Skyline Blvd). The main parking is at the intersection of Hwys 84 and 35. Another starting option is to park at the Portola Valley Town Hall and begin there. MAP
San Bruno Dog Park

San Bruno

San Bruno Dog Exercise Area; located on Maywood and Evergreen; open sunrise to sunset; fenced, benches, tables, poopbags, trees, parking, water, trashcans; comments: there is always grass and water available, it is fully fenced, plus there is a nice view of the Bay. MAP
